Care and contact

If something about a work, an edition or a visit needs a person rather than a page, this is where to start.

The studio handles most questions directly. Tell us what you are looking at and what you need to know. That could be a print from the proof rack you want to ask about before buying, a linocut or screenprint edition where you would like the condition and margin notes explained, or a mixed media work on paper you are thinking about framing. If you are planning a studio walkthrough, an open press day or an exhibition visit, send the date you have in mind and how many people are coming so the floor can be arranged around the press schedule.

Hire enquiries for book launches and portfolio reviews are welcome too. Describe the kind of event, roughly how many people, and whether you need the main room or the area near the press. For anything about a specific painting or print, mention the title and the medium if you know it, since oil on board, linocut, screenprint and works on paper are each stored and handled differently here.

Send it to the studio

Email is the simplest route for print enquiries, condition questions and hire requests. A phone call works if you would rather talk it through.

Where to reach the studio

Care, on this page, means knowing who to ask. If you are unsure whether your question belongs to the gallery, the press or the hire calendar, start with the studio and we will point you to the right person.

The address below is the studio's contact and postal address. It is where post, print enquiries and hire correspondence are directed. If you want to talk through a print, a walkthrough or a book launch, the phone and email reach the same small group who run the space.

Where to take a question

Most things people ask about the gallery and print studio can be sorted in a short conversation, or by reading the notes we keep on the site.

If you are unsure whether a print is still available, want to know what is on the walls this month, or need to check something about a hire, the fastest route is usually a direct message or a call during studio hours. Nothing here runs through an account or a booking system, so there is no login to create and no file to upload.

Best for print enquiries, proof rack questions and anything you want in writing.

Write to this address for post and paperwork. For visits, walkthroughs and press days, send a note first so someone can meet you at the door.

Before you write

A few details save a round of emails: which work or edition you mean, whether you are asking about a framed piece or a proof from the rack, and roughly when you would like to come in.

For hire enquiries, mention the kind of event, the date you have in mind and how many people you expect. That is enough for us to tell you whether the room is free and what the space can hold.
